So recital time is over....but how fabulously and totally ca-ute is this??!! For some of you doing piano camps and such, how about making these for your closing day events? Lots of work? Yes. Fun and unforgettable?...YES!
Laura, that is actually more what I had in mind originally- a closing with a reception that the parents come to. How about using pumpernickel bread? ....I had several brainstorms, but I left the individual creativity up to everyone else...:)
Lacy, I haven't actually made it yet- I'd like to make it for a recital. It looks tasty though- mostly sandwich materials from what I can see. (And I think the keyboard if cheese). I probably would end up taking it apart to eat it...haha. :)

ADORABLE!! though definitely not a project for a younger group of campers ;) I know several of my older students would love this project though.
